Kayleigh has over a decade of clinical experience providing psychosocial care to parents & children impacted by childhood illness. Having worked as Head Medical Social Worker in one of Ireland’s leading children’s hospitals, Kayleigh has a wealth of training and expertise. She has dedicated her career to supporting families during very traumatic and challenging times in their lives. Kayleigh is a certified Gentle Sleep Coach, having trained under child sleep expert Kim West. She is CORU registered and has a Masters in Social Science, Social Work (UCD), A Professional Certificate in Children & Loss, Level 9 (RCSI / Irish Hospice Foundation), further specialist training in Attachment, Trauma & Bereavement, having attended in person training with renowned experts Dr Bruce Perry, Dr David Tricky, Dr Patricia M. Crittenden & Dr Susan Delaney.


Kayleigh has extensive clinical experience of working with parents and children affected by Post Partem Depression & Anxiety, Parent Mental Health, Addiction, Domestic Abuse & Relationship Issues, Trauma (birth trauma, new diagnosis of childhood illness, childhood injury, neglect, physical, emotional & sexual abuse), Grief & Loss (childhood bereavement, parent bereavement, sibling support). Kayleigh is dedicated to fostering the mental well-being of infants and is an active member of the Irish Childhood Bereavement Network, ZERO to THREE and the Irish Association for Infant Mental Health.

Many parents that Kayleigh has worked with, have experienced challenging childhood sleep issues, which are further complicated by their medical diagnosis. Kayleigh is a Mother to two children, and has first-hand experience of sleep issues. Sleep is so important for our mental and physical well-being. Experiencing chronic sleep deprivation affects all areas of our emotional, physical & social well-being. Improving sleep can help you to feel more regulated, be more present and have more energy to manage & enjoy family life.
